FAZ IN ATE

1999

Polly dreams herself and her brother Ollie out of despair by creating an imaginary world (Faz In Ate) inhabited by Mr. Zing, who speaks the invented language of Zing-talk. Pulling the voices of Madmanstown into her musical dream Faz In Ate, the two worlds collide and chaos ensues.

Faz In Ate was developed through the Mabou Mines suite residency program in 2000. It was then co-produced by Deadalus Theater Company and was performed at the CSV Center/Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center.

It is an uncommon pleasure to see such creativity matched with consummate professionalism on all levels in a production that arrives on a wing and a prayer.
Faz In Ate is a funny, moving, and an exceptionally enjoyable piece of theatre. Clamor at the doors.
